"This place is great. The owner Israel is very responsive and nice. I originally stayed at another hotel but their AC was broken. I had to find another hotel last minute at 8:30PM. I found this place because it’s close to where I originally stayed and messaged Israel. He welcomed me to his hotel despite the late time of day. The check in process was super easy too. "The rooftop area was amazing and had a fun vibe to it. The entire staff was the best I’ve ever experienced at a place like this. Francisco was there almost everyday I was there on the rooftop area and he made it fun the whole time. Always provided amazing service and entertaining guy.
Ricardo who works in the lobby bar was also an absolute pleasure to sit, drink, and speak with. He provided a lot of good knowledge of the local area and was genuinely great to have as one of the first faces you see walking into the hotel.
The concierge desk, restaurant waiters, and cleaning staff were amazing as well. There are too many names to mention. Overall I would highly recommend this as a place to stay if you are looking to stay in Playa Del Carmen."

"Our stay at Paradisus La Perla was truly exceptional. Staff was pleasant, attentive, and welcoming. The restaurants were beautiful and the attention to guests was amazing. Alfredo in particular (at the reserve pool) was phenomenal and really made our experience top notch. We would love to return!"

"Our stay was amazing. The staff is so kind and attentive. They accommodated our group of 13 at dinner and breakfast regularly. They were very strict with who was allowed on property. We always felt safe. It was also a great location and easy to walk to 5th Ave shopping. "
