"I was looking for a camping feel, and aside from being off the highway, it was woodsy and quiet. The price is good for a small cosy cabin and staff is friendly, though not in the office 24/7. In the end, we weren’t in there very much and didn’t have a fire or anything, though there were pits available. Very good deal for the money. We were able to rent bear spray instead of buying for $80 down the street for something we didn’t need since all the hikes we took were inundated with people and no...

"We stayed at Irwin’s for 2 nights in a standard king room. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We had dinner one night at the hotel’s on-site restaurant which was very good. The property is an easy 10 minute walk into the centre of Banff. There are lots of restaurants and a supermarket in close proximity. Happy to recommend."

"Great location, easy walk along Banff Ave into the heart of the village. Set back a bit so very quiet, we even saw an Elk one evening coming back to the hotel! It's an expensive option, however the room we had was large and well furnished for our short stay, we also booked quite late so there may be cheaper options available. Breakfast was basic, but welcome and the parking was fine (med size car). TV with streaming was good. We loved staying in Banff."
