"Ups and downs in this property. It's super centrally located. Within walking distance of most important attractions like Sagrada Familia, Barrio Gotico, la Rambla etc. Although staff are trying hard to keep this property the building is super old and it shows.. despite of it all I l would definitely recommend this Hostal especially for first time visitors.."

"We were going to be traveling from Pamplona on a VERY long trip and decided to book something to break up the trip to Xerta. We received a message from the staff the saying they would not be available for check in after 1030 at night! Ive NEVER run into something like this with a hotel and tries to cancel as there was no way to get there by then! They basically said too bad, I was outside the cancellation window! Ridiculous!!"

"The place was in a good location and it was in a very safe area. The beds were comfy and our room had a very nice bathroom and little sunroom/porch area. One thing to note is the walls were extremely thin so everything going on in the hallway or other rooms could be heard in our room. The wifi was also very poor but that wasn’t a huge deal for us. The staff were very nice and the room looked exactly like the photos."

"It’s a hostel but a very good one. We had a private room and was just right given the price. As for location, it was great. Imagine being almost across the street from Casa Batlo. It’s also along Passaic de Gràcia which is an amazing shopping street. A great value for families on a long stay in Barecona."
