This property in the Eixample was just what we wanted and needed. Quick walk to Gran Via and Passeig de Gracia as well as Metro stations (Urquinaona is closest). We also found more than enough to eat short walks away with some great tapas stops. We walked to Placa de Catalunya and La Rambla very easily. Our front desk clerk was adorable and so welcoming. She was always attentive to our needs. Loved the location and loved our room. Quiet and cozy! Loved having the market next door, that was a surprise to our stay. Would stay again on our next visit to Barcelona!

We are from Atlanta, Ga and stayed here 4/18 - 4/20 prior to our 30th anniversary cruise to Italy. The Hotel is amazing. The staff are amazing. They were so helpful and accommodated our every request. I would like to compliment the Chef de Partie and staff. The breakfast was fantastic! A full buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, sliced meat & cheeses, fruit, pastries, coffee, expresso, juice. It was such a pleasant surprise. Excellent hotel! We love how the full staff treat the visitors. We appreciate the opportunity of early checkin due our flight arrived in the morning. The room was clean and quiet. We planned to return after our cruise but unfortunately it was fully booked. Very recommended!

My husband and I traveled to Barcelona on business and holiday. We found the staff to be extremely professional and friendly. The hotel is located in the heart of Barcelona with a taxi at your service at all times. The Roof Top Bar is great with its delicious food and lively music. If you want some sun, you can "catch some rays" by the pool with a tropical drink in your hand with large pool towels available. Room Mate Gerard is a beautiful hotel with a pleasant and accommodating staff. It is conveniently located near metro stations, two of the Gaudi houses, shopping, and Plaza Catalunya which is a departure point for many day tours. The hotel breakfast buffet was well stocked with a variety of food and beverages. I would definitely choose this hotel again upon returning to Barcelona!
