"We have stayed at this property several times. They’ve made some very nice improvements including a nice fresh breakfast (omelettes, waffles, fruits, cereals, etc.) room, updates to the buildings ( fresh and new). We were granted an upgrade to a one bedroom unit with a balcony and oceanview. It’s also close to many restaurants. We will return. "

"If you stay with a view to the marina be prepared to see boats come in and out and fishing ppl.. At times with loud ppl. The outside patios are close to the neighbors and it can get really hot no fans outside just bug nets. I only stayed two nights so I didn't mind the outside noises or boats. "

"I tried to refund this stay due to my sister being in ICU in Tennessee. Since no one would approve a cancellation I was forced to return from TN and use this reservation without my sisters who stayed in TN to be with my brother. As far as the hotel goes it was fine. Just disappointed that Expedia and Hampton Inns put making buck before showing compassion to a family facing a family member dying,"

"We went for a three day trip to fish and dive, unfortunately the winds were 25 knots from the east all three days. Still, the marina was right on site and protected. The ride by boat to the back country was easy, quick and close. The hotel is your typical keys hotel, on the water, pool, nothing crazy fancy. We got a second floor room, clean and big. Sunday was great, Monday and Tuesday we were stuck next to a room being renovated. Hammer drills, banging and constant noise from 730am on. We left...

"We stayed here from June 8-14th and it was fantastic! The first 2 nights were in the motel and what strick us first was how clean the rooms are! Beds were comfy and water pressure was great. Well appointed and the keurig coffee makers were a nice bonus. The rest of our time was stayed in cabin #7, and it was AWESOME!!! "Came here by boat and stayed a week. Loved it. The staff is super nice and very helpful. The dock facilities are old but more than adequate. The marina area is nice and protected by natural rocks and mangroves. The hotel itself is perfect Old Florida. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The AC was cold, and they had Fire TV. There is a great little pool and deck area, and we even rented JetSkis one day right there on site. We are frequent Keys visitors and have stayed at several places...
