Da half auch der eingeschaltete Ventilator nichts. Das Hotel war überhaupt sehr alt und Renovierungsarbeiten bedürftig."

Note the Expedia advert pictures are misleading - the swimming pools and spa are not onsite, 45 min walk / 5 min drive - does state it in the small print. "

Pier head, Portreath The pier was extended out along the edge of a ridge of rocks in 1824 to provide a more sheltered entrance to the harbour. It is still a narrow and difficult entrance and must have been really challenging in the days of sail if there was any sort of a sea running bearing in mind this is not a particularly stormy day.
