"Very pleasant stay. We arrived very late in the evening but our key was available form the bar. Very easy. Good sized room - quiet and not overlooked. Didn't have time to go to the gym or pool but looked good. Excellent breakfast with enough choice to suit most tastes. Minor issue that the carpark isaway from the main building so suggest drive to front door to deposit cases etc and then go and park car in car park (lots of space). Grounds seemed well maintained too."

"Right in centre of Newquay, close to Beaches, Main Street and Railway Station. Outside of building does look a bit weather worn but that is probably only to be expected given the location The Bar and Dining area is relatively spacious & the included breakfast was pretty good! Room was smallish, relatively comfortable bed and a clean toilet and shower. Hotel staff were all extremely pleasant!"

"The location was superb, room fantastic view however the hotel inside needs some tlc. The carpet inside the lift was worn, the dining room ceiling was patched up; in my room the tiles surrounding the bath needed re grouting, the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling away in the corners and the furniture in my bedroom was shabby and required revarnishing and the paintwork in my room needed touching up and the window frames needed cleaning. The bed through was the nicest bed ever, so...

"We were in one of the sea view rooms (room 119) and were blown away by the view. There was also a patio outside with table and chairs. Room was comfortable but not luxurious. Bed was good. Breakfast was also good, again with a tremendous view onto the harbour. The hotel has a maze of slightly dingy corridors, probably the result of various extensions over time, but that really didn't matter to us once we got our bearings"
