"The River House Inn is a nice option if you’re staying in Florence. The rooms are nice and the location next to the historic area is great. Checkin / out: Checking in and out was quick, efficient, and easy! Parking: There’s ample parking just outside of the rooms. Cleanliness: The room was very clean, but it definitely had a musty smell. "Bathroom wasn’t cleaned. Toilet was sanitized but the floor was sticky and had hair on it. The shower had hair in it and blobs of shampoo or conditioner on the walls. "

"The front desk was very accommodating. I wasn't able to take stairs due to some knee issues and they were able to change my room to a first floor. Everything was very clean. It is an older property so don't expect what newer hotels provide. The "breakfast" wasn't really much of anything. Just juice coffee, snack bar or bagel/toast. I ended up not eating there because they also didn't have non-dairy creamer so I couldn't drink the coffee. However, Bob's Main Street was amazing! I'd only stay...

"The motel was run by an earnest husband/wife team. The older structure had charm, with plentiful seating in the lobby. The simple b'fast was carb-heavy but tasty. Obviously, fruit has become unduly costly in the US these past decades, so was absent other than the standard high-glycemic OJ. The waffles were good, however. Beds were fine, bathroom fine also, though the bathroom sink and faucet were a mis-match, with the faucet extending further forward over the great majority of the sink thus...
