"This was more like a hotel room in America meaning it was bigger. It did not have a fridge or microwave but did offer a continental breakfast. The room and bathroom was clean. We'd stay again."

"There was some building works going on but no noise disturbances thank you! The staff were great and helpful. Room was very clean. Main bed was good but the pull out bed wasn’t very comfortable unfortunately. Breakfast the next day was delicious thank you "

"Whilst reviews of hotel were mixed the character of the hotel more than made of for slightly shabby appearance. The location of hotel was perfect for attending concert at Opera House & parking couldn't have been better."

"If you can look past the area that the 'George Hotel' is in then you have a beautiful old building with a very interesting history behind it. Yes the property could do with some investment and renovation, but the building inside was clean and the rooms were clean. The staff were all very friendly. In its hayday this would have been a wonderful building"
