"Stayed for 2 nights. We booked a standard room with sofa and breakfast included. It was clean but the bed was more like a small double. Not very comfortable for 2 people. Breakfast the 1st morning was very good, self service, plenty to choose from. The 2nd morning was disorganised, a long queue on waiting on food to be replenished. A great location for the town centre. Ten minute walk to shops and transport links etc."

"Good comms on the phone before I arrived. Kindly suggested that I park at the secure NCP car park next door as there had been some theft recently, which was cheap enough. The room I was given had been smoked in (not the hotels fault) - the guys on the reception immediately swapped me to another room with no quibbling which was great. Hotel could do with a couple of touch ups, but it was clean and friendly and an absolute bargain compared to other options. Very good breakfast too"

The bed was fairly comfortable but a bit on the small side for my 6ft 2 husband. "This hotel has pleasant rooms, comfortable beds, well balanced breakfasts, helpful staff. The surroundings look like a bomb site. Parking was a challenge. The open air areas were fine but very limited. The covered areas required a lot of skill to manoeuvre the small confined spaces. Not good enough even though paid for parking. "
