"Hotel was fine for an overnight stay. Room very hot and cool air function did not work. Bed not comfortable as too soft. First point of check in, the person who i spoke too was not very welcoming. Just said i had to download parking app asap to book car in. Too early for room too. Then whilst i am standing at reception trying to download the app a guy comes to check in (with a Man City shirt on) he welcomes him in a completely different way. Asks him if he would require parking to be arranged...

"Overall this is a lovely hotel. The room is great and the bed is the comfiest I think I’ve ever slept in. The shower is excellent and the staff were very friendly. The food and service in the restaurant were five star but the restaurant itself was a little chilly so we had to keep our coats on while we ate. The TV in the room was only picking up a weak signal so it was pixelating all the time and one of the handles on the window was broken and so couldn’t be opened"

"I’ve stayed here a couple of times in recent weeks. The location is fantastic. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. I’ve had two different rooms - both much larger than your average double room, only difference seemingly between privilege and “standard” rooms being the size of the TV and slightly larger bed. Nice to have both a shower and bath (separate). Very good value for money especially given the access to a proper gym. "
