"Great hotel for San Francisco. We picked a corner view room a little more expensive but views of SF to die for brilliant. Good options for grabbing a bite to eat and good site for trams and mini buses."

"We had an amazing 2 night stay. Staff was awesome and very accommodating. Rooms clean. Bed comfy. Continental breakfast was ok. Not bad just typical. Only thing we would change is the floor we were on. 11th below the rooftop restaurant. Loud banging noises until about 1am. Another piece of advice for those like us who haven’t stayed in a city downtown, plan for parking especially on game days! Save at least $150/200 just in case. (For 2 days) Other than that, we would definitely recommend. "

"Very convenient for downtown. Old but clean and great service. If you are bothered by street noise try and get a room high up maybe. Also no a.c. which was not an issue for my stay but if the weather was really hot might trouble some. Was there for conference - worked out great."

"This place has the biggest rooms for the price, but you’ll find that the rooms are a little rough around the edges. A hook was broken off the mirror, there were dings and stains on the furniture. When we arrived there was a big moth in our room, which isn’t the worst but it made me wonder how it got in if we had kept the sliding door closed. Also 20 for parking with no valet? "Homeless people all around the surrounding blocks - hard to walk places when you have to navigate open drug use, filth and people strung out. "

I like the lobby water station along with the morning tea and coffee with pastries! My upgraded king room was so comfortable and an unexpected blessing that I so appreciated! I loved the small quaint environment of this hotel! I had a great experience staying at Hotel Griffon! "
