"Easy check in, clean, nearby shops and ocean and the host responds quickly to any needs. Be mindful that it is on street parking so first come, first served. And don’t forget to turn your wheels when you park (I got a ticket). ;) and bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper because you are below the homeowner. It was a perfect fit for our visit!"

"I didn’t like that I reported that the tv didn’t work and the front desk just said they’d call a tech later. When it still wasn’t working hours later they said they’d call tech hadn’t answered and they’d call in the morning. It wasn’t fixed the next day or the day after and they’d call did not offer to change the tv or the room. Then they cancelled the reservation."

"Friendly staff, helpful, understanding, parking is nice and hidden in the back, very close and walking distance to ocean, room(s) was clean and and didn’t smell, wish they had a better fan system as they only have a small portable fan on the desk, aside from that, it’s very nice."

"I stayed here with my mom and daughter for one night. Overall I say it was decent for one night and the price was reasonable. The ratings of this place seemed so good that I booked it. The beds were very uncomfortable and the smaller bed was on a bunch of cardboards used as a box spring. The towels seemed dingy. The bathroom floor and shower seemed run down. I didn’t sleep good because the owners live right above us and it sounded super loud when they were walking and running the water and shuffling around. Then in the morning again at 7am they were up and about moving and it was just too loud for me. I will not be staying here anymore. It’s not as private as they made it out to be. Also the owner wanted me to move my car after he told me it was ok to park in the driveway. I was a bit startled as I was relaxing with my family I hear a knock coming from inside the garage and I open it and it’s him asking me to move my car into the street so he can park his car in the driveway. That wasn’t a problem, it’s just more contact with the owners than what I wanted. They should be clear about where we can park so that we don’t have to move our car after."

"We stayed here on a return trip to SF after moving away a few years ago. The only good parts were that the place was pretty clean and check-in was easy. It also has a location that was great for us - close to Golden Gate Park.What was really rough was the sleeping arrangements. We brought our two kids (who regularly sleep in rough locations on camping mats and floors) and even they could not handle the pull-out sofa bed and how painful it was. It was one of the worst I’ve ever laid down in - they ended up sleeping on the floor after all. The only actual bed in the place has a mattress that felt like it was made in the 70s, and we woke each other up every time one of us moved. The other rough thing was that the listing was misleading - what looks like multiple bedrooms is really just one with different bedspreads in different pictures, and the place really wasn’t private. The only thing separating us from people living upstairs was a paper screen that stayed shut with a cabinet magnet - definitely not an entire home or private. What looks in the pictures like a decent little outdoor area in the back yard is actually a broken water feature that has devolved into an algae covered mosquito pit, which was surrounded by half-used lawn waste bags. The thermostat didn’t work (which was only fine because the weather was fine).Definitely will never return, and really hope they upgrade a tiny bit before the next family comes, or lower the price and edit the listing."

"Stay was great! Bed was comfortable, plenty of storage, host was very responsive. There were other comments about the sounds from the hosts going about there day being an issue, we did not find it to be bothersome by any means."
