It was a perfect choice for the 1 night stay we had in breaking a long drive from the north of Scotland to south yorkshire. Food and drink in the inn was very nice and the service by the staff likewise. Breakfast was included in the cost of the stay and we knew it was going to be as good as its past reviews. All in all a great stay."

"Food was good and our room was very good apart from the en-suite door which was very dirty both sides, it hasn’t been painted so all dirt soaks in. It needs a towel hook inside the en-suite. If that door was clean, our stay would have been perfect."

"The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay"
