The hotel has a great pool with an amazing view, 5 minute walk to the beach. Also, the staff is so sweet here, and have 2 beautiful dogs, and cats who are sometimes on the property. "We spent 2 weeks in August at Maria’s. Lovely apartments with beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous view. Apartments were basic but had everything we needed. There is a hairdryer (which isn’t mentioned in the description). Check in was easy, we had a late arrival and were advised in advance of our apartment number beforehand and access instructions. "Couldn’t open door as swollen so made loud noise every time you went in or out. Beds awful lumpy & can feel springs! Sheets stained & had some holes. Very limited furnishings & kitchen not equipped at all. Not even a kettle on arrival but did get one on request. Told not to use aircon but had to sometimes as too hot. Only good points was location & nice sun beds. "

"The property was clean and the bed was comfortable nice to have a kettle and fridgewith freezer compartment and a bacony. Needs a bit of refurbishment particularity the bathroom with a wet room and hand held shower head. Unfortunately the property is in a residential neighbourhood and dogs were regularly barking late at night and early morning which disturbed our sleep but this was no fault of the owners Spiros and his wife who were wonderful hosts. All in all a good stay in budget...

"The apartments are lovely however the location as stated on the listing is not where the property is. The location is shown as within a block of the waterfront but the property is about 4 block away (the end of the town). Although it is only a short walk to the waterfront, the location as shown is misleading. Also, the fridge in our apartment (we stayed in Joy) would freeze everything, even though the temperature was on the warmest setting. We were asked to turn the fridge off and on to reset it...

Great location opposite beach, friendly staff
"The hotel is located in Lassi, and is just a short journey from the airport (approx 10 mins). The taxi journey was $20 from airport to hotel, and $25 from hotel back to airport, although a bus is available. The location is absolutely perfect for the amazing Makris Gialos beach, and a 5 minute walk to a supermarket and the beginning of a road full of restaurants and shops. There is a bus stop is directly outside the hotel. It looked as though the hotel and pool area had been completed redecorated recently. Our room was small but clean and tidy, and the most comfortable bed we’ve ever slept in. The bathroom toilet and basin looked new, but the bath/shower needed an updated – but worked perfectly okay. The staff were brilliant – really helpful and friendly – we had no issues at all throughout our stay. The pool area was great, lots of sunbeds (which looked new) and a bar for drinks etc. We ate out each evening in local restaurants (great value and lovely food), but ate breakfast at the hotel – breakfast was fairly limited in choice and basic, but it was okay. We would definitely stay at the hotel again – not least because of the location opposite the wonderful Makris Gialos beach. "
