"Absolutely loved our stay! Great communication from Connie ahead of our holiday, and Andy was great whilst we were at the villa helping out with a few things like boat trips and even replacing the hammock which was broken. The villa itself was perfect for us - 2 adults and 2 kids (15 and 10). Very clean, in a great condition, and had everything we needed. We wanted our own space in a quiet area slightly off the tourist beaten track, and that’s what we got. We had a car to get around as we wanted to explore the island. Whilst not essential, I’d recommend a car if you stay at this property. It’s too hot in August to walk to the beach loaded up with bags!! Andy gave us 2 paddle boards and tennis rackets to use - added bonus as it gave us extra things to do which was great. WiFi connection was brilliant and great to have a smart TV for those moments the kids just want to chill. This was the best family holiday we’ve had. Kefallonia is a beautiful island if you get out and explore beyond the tourist areas. The hidden beaches are amazing - hire a speedboat locally from Ortus Boats for an unforgettable day - the local restaurants and bars were good value and managed by lovely people. And if you get a chance, take the boat trip with Dennis from Acropolis, which Andy recommended and booked for us. Loved every second and we will 100% be coming back!"

"Old box TV, no channels working, a waste of time having it in the room. Furniture in room rundown, no clothes hangers. The bed was very comfortable. Swimming pool was nice, needs more seating areas & lounge beds. No restaurant/food, snacks or water available on site, you need to drive to get these. Dinner & Breakfast needs to be pre booked in advance when not purchased in a package. Internet was ok. Heaps of parking available. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Marco this summer. Andy the local host met us on arrival and was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and was just great to know he was about should we ever need to call on him. Connie kept us really well informed ahead of travelling. All the facilities were as advertised, the aircon was super effective and the views out to sea and to the neighbouring islands are amazing. The villa is in a location that does warrant a hire car as the nearest beaches are about a mile away. We found Al Helis beach better than Avithos as there was more going on and it was generally larger. Local restaurants like Sea Salt, Enetiko and Avithos Preview Terrace are all delightful. The Sarris winery is particularly good and well worth an evening visit for a tasting with local breads, olives, cheese and oil. Costa Costa beach about 15 mins drive toward Argostoli is a lively and well equipped beach with more facilities. If you are looking for a boat trip do try Utopia Cruises in Argostoli - Captain Spiros and his First Mate Sotos are proper characters, hard working and really made our day with thier antics and hospitality. "

"The property is a clean and beautiful, traditional greek villa with all of the ameneties that you need for a comfortable holiday. We stayed with our three children and grandparents, so 7 of us comfortably fit (the chilldren shared one room) There are aircon units in each room which work perfectly, almost too cool! The pool was cleaned during our stay and was perfect to cool off in the heat. The children enjoyed the outdoor space and grass area. We also used the outdoor BBQ a few times which was perfect when you wanted to enjoy a night at the villa instead of venturing out. The wasps were the only annoyance when eating outside. Maria the host was extremely helpful and kind, and the Mousakka that was brought during our stay was better than any we have ever tasted! Thank you! I would recommend a car when using this villa if you want to see the island, however there are two beautiful beaches within walking distance from the property (Avithos and Helios) there is also a shop about a mile or so away which we walked to a few times, as well as a few restaurants (We went to Fois for a traditional greek music night and the evening was splendid) All in all, a wonderful stay! "Our family had a great experience for 7 nights at Avithos resort. super close to the airport (9 minute), excellent location! Room has a fully furnished kitchen and a welcoming balcony! pool area is super well maintained and has enough chairs for all guests! Food is amazing and super tasty (until 9 pm only). Beautiful views and sunsets! kristina helped us reserve a private boat to Zakynthos and is super knowledgeable! Hotel is close to two beaches, small markets, 15 min to a bigger grocery store!! Absolutely recommend it!!!"
