"Ignoring the scaffolding you see as you park up, once inside the Grand was excellent. Staff were very attentive, especially the bar staff.. Food whilst a limited menu, was excellent. Parking can be an issue but there is a pay and display 5 mins away. Rooms very modern and views fantastic. Would stay again happily..."

"I was impressed from the moment I saw this attractive stone building, on a slight rise which gives good views of the beauty of Swanage Bay and the nearby coast. A very friendly and helpful welcome from the moment I came through the door, but not overdone either. My room had a view of the bay and was comfortable and completely clean (as was the entire place). A good space for breakfast - does not do evening meals but many nearby possibilities for that. Large and well cared for garden area an additional amenity. For the price I paid it exceeded my expectations and I can certainly envisage returning for a longer stay, it would be a good base for exploring this attractive part of the country."

"We had an amazing one night stay in a family room with sea view and plenty of space. Beds were comfy, shower was nice and coffee facilities were welcome in the morning. Swimming pool was refreshing img although very strong smell of chlorine due to hot tub and no ventilation which did irritated my eyes a little bit. Very happy with our stay, wish I could stay longer. Would definitely stay again and recommend to family and friends. "

"Perfect place to stay for a weekend, we stayed for two nights (Couple and a dog) in a Standard room. Super close to everything in Lulworth Cove and West Lulworth and very easy to get to via Train from London to Wool and a short bus journey to Lulworth Cove. The service was incredible and very friendly, welcoming and accommodating, offering guidance and advice on things to do and places to visit."

Although we didn't use all the facilities as we only stayed one night there was lots to do at the hotel including a spa experience, games room, bar & lots more. The breakfast was very nice and freshly cooked but as I'm vegan the choice was limited. I would highly recommend this hotel as it's in a very convenient location opposite the beach & close to shops & restaurants & bars."
