"Nice place but I expected a place on a vineyard, but this was only close to a vineyard. Not really hotel facilities but an appartment with kitchen. They need to do something with the AC. No restaurant on-site. The pool was a few hundred meters away. Pretty isolated and you are dependent of a car whatever you want to do (including going to restaurants). Really nice and helpful staff who gave a lot pf good advice for things to do in the area. "

We loved this place! Getting here was a bit tricky, as the map we were given in the welcome email was of bad quality, so it didn't take us to the correct place right away, but we figured it out, very minor. I'm sure you can ask for a better quality map. When we arrived to check in, we were greeted by Lisa, who was oh so very helpful! She showed us where laundry was, asked all questions we had about WIFI and other hotel things, recommended us 3 terrific places to eat dinner on each of our 3...

We made some beautiful memories at Pointe a Nappo and hope to visit again in the future. The entire staff made this stay truly special; we enjoyed getting to know everyone and felt like family. It was hard to leave. We loved the BBQ dinners offered a few nights during our stay. A delicious meal cooked with love on a beautiful patio, couldn't have asked for more. Thank you to everyone for taking such good care of us!

We generally get a house in Florence and then spend three days as a side trip in San Gimignano. I truly enjoyed this hotel because of its PROXIMITY TO THE ENTRANCE RATHER THAN TO THE NETHER REACHES. The lady in the reception area was especially kind and most helpful...always a plus!

Old hotel in an old mountain top town. Given the limitations of this environment the Cisterna is a great little hotel that met all of our needs .The Cisterna is located in Cisterna Square in town close to sights, dining and a valley view walkway. The views to the valley from the rooms is amazing. The rooms are a good size and are modernized and comfortable. The staff is great (friendly and helpful). Many choices for dining close by (in the square) but others will require some minor hills and...

The best experience staying within the walls! Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Filled with so much charm. Breakfast was perfect.
We rented a car and were given permission to drive into the town to get our bags into the room. Parking was easy to find outside the walls and the walk back to the room was 5-8 minutes.

We had an excellent 1 night stay. The hotel is located in beautiful setting among the Tuscany hills with an easy 40 minutes drive south of Florence. IThe property sits an olive orchard directly below to a picture perfect Chianti vineyard. The views of the Tuscan hills at sunset and sunrise were spectacular. The registration process was quick and easy. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. He walked us to our room to make sure we were happy with our accomodations. Our room was spacious, the...

The property is very nice . My room was ok , nice view , spacious bathroom except the shower . The lights switchers are confusing but understandable because is an old European style . Breakfast is very good . A lot choices and was included in the price . Staff is great always try to help you . Location is good , just 600 mts from San Gimignano main entrance . You don’t need a car to go close to inside the walls . Parking is difficult in the area but you will find a spot away from the hotel .!...

Mauro and his family and staff made the stay at the castle one of our favorite places during the whole vacation in Tuscany. Great location right near restaurants. Their wines along with breakfast and cappuccino every morning was awesome! We would highly recommend.

Chianti Village Hotel was wonderful. We had an apartment suite that was perfec for 3 people. The place was spotless, the service excellent and all of the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
The location about 28 Km South of Florence and just off the autostrade was excellent for exploring the region.
