"The staff was very helpful with my not speaking Spanish. The order off the menu breakfast was good. They had buffet for private groups but it was not clear to me that it wasn’t open to guests."

"Hotel located in a busy area of Panajchel.
Front desk was courteous and very friendly, same as other staff in the hotel and restaurant.
Room was clean, well organized and the distribution of bedroom, living room/office space and bathroom was good."

Jenna's B&B was an excellent place to stay! The views here of the lake and the volcanoes were so beautiful and the place truly felt like home. Our villa was comfortable and clean. We were provided with fresh linens and fresh water daily. The staff was EXCEPTIONAL! Yvan and Andrea really helped us get our plans organized and helped us get around to the different towns, making plans for us while we were there. Hotel Atitlan is located near Panajachel on Lake Atitlan. It is a treasure with beautiful gardens, birds, and artwork everywhere you look. The pool and hot tub overlook the lake and volcanoes. It is close to shopping and tourist activities. You can walk to a nature reserve with monkeys, butterflies, and zip lines. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. We truly enjoyed our stay at Aviva. Rooms were really great with unique touches. The bed was probably the best I ever had. Great coffee service and lots of little lovely details. We were always addressed by our name and Adam went above and beyond offering advice. Best breakfast by far in the area. Still a little of the beaten path.

I had the most wonderful stay at Isla Verde, I only wish I could have stayed more than one night! The staff was so kind and generous to help in any way they could! The view is amazing... And I've traveled all around the world and have seen some pretty amazing views! The food was delicious and healthy- all grown organically on their property! In the short 24 hours I was there, I was able to enjoy sunbathing, a morning kayak trip on the lake, and squeeze in a few chapters of my book. I will...

I would come back next time I'm in Panajachel. The grounds are beautiful to just sit and look at, read a book or talk with someone. It's very peaceful. The two Jacuzzi whirlpools are fabulous and get really hot which is great for relaxing. The breakfast was great that we had in their restaurant. The hotel is very nicely located so you can walk down to the water and do lots of great shopping. We had two rooms to accommodate our family of 8 but they put us in two rooms side by side which was...

We travelled to San Buenaventura for a quick weekend get-a-way with the kids and had a surprisingly great time here! The two level suites were great, with wonderful views of the lake, fireplace, extra ponchos for the cold, good beds, fully equipped kitchen, great private terrace with carbon grill. The pool area is really nice, well kept gardens. Breakfast was a bit on the expensive side, but good, we had some delicious honey crepes. Hotel staff was scarce at night when we arrived buy took good...
