"The main thing that made our stay a good experience was the staff, they were doing a good job. and made time to stop and chat. they realy look after the hotel and the guests who come to stay giving a good impression.they explained about the hotels past history that it was founded by the owners who built the cross country railway. It made our stay all the more interesting.thanks to the good people in newquay cornwall. and staff in the great western hotel."

"Lovely setting and quieter than central Falmouth. We had a nice sea facing room, which was spacious. It was good to have access to the pool, sauna and gym. It is an old property, so some aspects are a little tired. That being said, I would definitely stay there again. It was great value. "
