"This property is in the park and so you can get to the entrance by 6am when they open. The grounds are lovely as you are in the tropical forest. The first night we were there we heard howler monkeys close by and saw a Toucan (wild) and many birds. The hotel is supposedly run entirely on solar power, although that’s not something I could verify. But kudos to them. The room was very spacious for my son and I and so was the bathroom. "So fun to stay so close to Tikal- you need to buy your entrance tickets before you arrive. Its a very simple walk to the park entrance. The bunglaow was adorable. It was very hot, a bit hard to sleep but worth it for the experience "
