"Comfortable bed, clean room, close to train station. Stayed 3 nights. The first night we were given room 206 which was right above busy London Street. It was very noisy. When we first arrived a maintenance man showed up to check the shower saying there were complaints about a loud noise. He did not find anything. In the morning when we turned the shower on, the pressure was high and it made a horrendous noise. No amount of adjustment would fix it. Had to shower with the noise. It was clear to me that there was a bad / clogged diverter valve and when combined with the high pressure it caused the pipes to squeal - not a quick fix. I told the desk of the noise problems and they were very accommodating and moved us to the 10th floor. No more noise problems there. The only problem was low water pressure in the shower. Other than the noise and water pressure it was a fine stay. The only other matter to be aware of is that if you want the morning buffet at the discounted price you need to purchase the meals by the midnight before."

"The stables was a bit difficult to find but once we got there we were able to call reception. Check in was quite straightforward and we were able to get to the room quickly. The room was really nice and clean, comes with Wi-Fi and a mini fridge as well as a hot tub on the balcony with plenty of privacy. We were able to go on a few trails as close as 10mins away to explore the Peak District. Lots of fun hikes to do for different abilities. The steakhouse next door was amazing, the chef of 10/10 and make delicious food!! They offer room service but only serve food until 9 unfortunately. The ladies in the pub were able to offer suggestions of local takeaways from the high street so it was super helpful. Would 1000% stay here again and definitely recommend it!!!"
