"Customer service was great. We enjoyed the view from our oceanfront room, the pictures does it no justice! There are plenty of walkable restaurants and a Uber to old San Juan and to/from the airport were under $10. The only concern we had was there wasn’t a microwave or refrigerator in the room. There is a stocked mini fridge but not a separate one for guests to utilize. During the week, in September, there isn’t much going on at the resort. It was really quiet, which was good for us this trip....

"The Hi Bird was lovely — a perfect hotel for a short romantic trip at the tail end of a tropical storm. My partner and I got to the Hi Bird on the last day of a tropical storm so we couldn’t use some amenities like the pool or the lobby juice bar etc. We were able to park in the lot and let me just warn future travelers about the size of the lot: tiny tiny! It was great to know we had a space, although it took some coaching to get our bigger rental vehicle in a spot every day. The lobby,...
