Quality of everything in the room was according to the stars. Restaurant serves a very good menu. Has an outdoor seating as well . Breakfast was perfect. Nothing negative ! "

"Fantastic location - a 5 min flat walk to Brig Rail/Bus station and a slightly uphill walk to the town centre and Schlossalpenstock. Perfect for our plans for daily train trips (Brig has mainline connections across Switzerland and to Italy and is a station on the Glacier Express route from Zermatt to Andermatt, Chur and St Moritz). "We had an absolutely wonderful 3-night stay at the Aspen Alpin! Grindelwald was our favorite spot in Switzerland and we loved being a bit removed from the main restaurant/shopping area. We had a suite and we loved the extra space. And the mountain views from our room were incredible! The restaurant and service were excellent! "

"Our first impression of this hotel was not so good... a hotel built in the 1990s with a somewhat strange layout and in need of modernization. It’s definitely not a 4-* hotel. However, first impressions can be wrong. The spa in a separate building was quite amazing and the best after a day of skiing or hiking. Dinner on the top floor was very good and staff was very attentive. Not our first choice for a holiday but for a stopover this hotel was quite OK."
