"Lobby restaurant better than roof-top restaurant. Shower very good. Toiletries plentiful. Too many unmarked light and electrical switches. Luckily some seemed to come on automatically. Location is excellent for trains and easy walking access to York Minster and the tourist attractions. National Railway Museum currently very distant to access, due to reconstruction."

The hotel is literally steps away from both the train and bus stations that made it ideal for our travel. The most outstanding thing about the Milner was its staff. They were extremely kind and helpful. They went out of their way to help us."

"In a really good position for getting into the city, with many bars and restaurants very close by, parking onsite is a little expensive (in my opinion) £25 per night. We found a parking spot 5 minutes walk away for £9 overnight, other than that definitely recommend this hotel."
