"Good was good and the waiter was nice and accommodating. The food has good variety. However the front desk staffs weren’t as nice as many other DoubleTree we’ve been too. A lot of things we have to self help plus pool was closed and they were not ready to open although there was no lightning or thunderstorms. Parking space was tight and difficult to manoeuvre. "Had a lovely stay at Silken Hotel. Beautiful hotel, and spotlessly clean throughout. Pool area was very nice and chilled. Had a ongoing issue with the air conditioning in our room which the lovely front desk staff were really helpful and patient with. We eventually asked to change rooms and were moved without any fuss whatsoever. Breakfast was good, plenty of selection. 5 minute walk to the beach, the pool area was so nice we never wanted to go to the beach. Loads of nice restaurants and bars...
