"Very good hotel, very spacious, relaxing, beautiful. Excellent gym, best of any hotel in Costa Rica where I have stayed. I wish that their was more recreation, a basquetball court, oing pong table, game room ? The space is there. Really nice cafe and other restaurants. "

"I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. The staff was amazing. We bookended our vacation in Costa Rica by staying a night at both ends of it at the Hotel Presidente. We flew in to San Jose and then traveled to other cities. San Jose doesn’t have much to offer. However, this property really stands out and provides their guests with an actual experience. "Excellent staff. Really decent looking rooms. My only issue was that I was in a room where there was an adjoining door and the other room could hear all my conversations and complained about the noise when I played a word game on my phone. Needs more insulation. "

"Alta Las Palomas is a unique hotel with great service. The breakfast was the highlight of our stay. The only small drawback is the AC is currently out of service. However, we were comfortable in our room with the mountain breeze. "

"Beautiful and unique property. We only stayed one night and loved the coffee tour. The restaurant was on site and had delicious options. Only slight downside is no A/C (which we knew about) and lots of insects/bugs that were in the room (2 spiders, 3 other larger) when we arrived. "
