"We were pleasantly surprised with the JW in DC. We read reviews prior to going and there was a lot of hit and miss. For us it was great. Clean and staff were nice to us. We ate some meals at the hotel and food was good. Will say ALL food in DC is VERY expensive. We did a quick sightseeing vaca for three nights and had a good time. "Citizen M When I walked in, I immediately thought about how adorable this place was! Arrive arrived a bit early so Vernon (unsure of how to spell his name) was polite enough to take my suitcase for me. Check in was a breeze. I’ve never checked into a hotel without having to speak to person. It was quick and easy. The room is so cute and cozy enough for two people I love how up-to-date everything is. You can control the lighting, the TV, the blinds with a click of a button. How convenient?! on the tablet they give you a list of recommendations for the first timers, which I thought was pretty cool because I had no idea what I should do. My bartender Jared was so sweet and helpful as well. I will definitely be staying here again when I come back to DC."
