"Good facilities and very nice reception area. The rooms were recently refurbed and looked good. Unfortunately some areas of the room needed a better finish e.g paint on the bathroom floor."
"This hotel was bright and clean.
Iris in the heart of Liverpool center. Everything could hope to is minutes away by foot.
The staff were helpful , polite, caring and compassionate. I’m a diabetic and at 3:30 in the morning, I went down to the lobby to hopefully find some juice to help with low sugar number.
A middle aged gentleman, at the desk, showed real concern my welfare and provided me with bread, butter, jam and apple juice , which help stabilize my blood sugars. Didn’t ask my room number...
"Really good place but unfortunately we had no air conditioning was working in the room when we were there. No fridges in the room unfortunately but staff were really helpful. Would definitely stay again"
"A 1 night stop-off on my way to Scotland. I stayed here as it had a gym and (small) pool with sauna. The staff were lovely with special thanks to the lady on the leisure club reception who let me use the studio. I also used the pool, sauna and jacuzzi which were small but clean (there's a steam room too but that was temporarily unavailable).
The hotel is looking a little tired but is clean with good sized comfortable rooms at a decent price. Have previously stayed at another chain hotel close...
"The location is good it's about a 15 min slow walk into the city centre. The hotel is opposite the train station so it can be noisey. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The bar at night lacked ambience. The lights were to bright and with a wide screen TV it felt more like a sports bar than a relaxing place for a drink. Breakfast in the kings grill was not great the pastries coffee and juice were poor quality and the seating was stained and tatty . The bedroom was clean."
"Property was okay, only reason it doesn’t get a 5 or 4 is that it’s a bit too expensive for what you get. Room type was not available but check with n. Person sorted it smoothly 👍😀. Breakfast was mad busy and not big enough for the amount of people, it was limited but very tasty. Bed was super comfy though. Again nothing in particular inherently wrong just a bit too expensive"
