"Myself, my husband and two year old stayed at the Alona this summer. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again. The staff were lovely, the room was perfect, location was perfect and the food was great."

"Lovely hotel in historic old mill building. Parking close to hotel entrance. Very modern inside. Great room with fantastic view down the river. Staff friendly and helpful. Restaurant evening meal was adequate and fairly priced, breakfast was plentiful, good quality and included in rate.Loads to do in the surrounding area without getting back in the car. Don't forget that you are in an important World Heritage site."

"Stayed only one night so wasn’t able to use the spa (arrived late, left early) but it looked terrific!"

"It was perfectly situated in the centre of Linlithgow. Has private parking, great security and is created with the idea of having a little more space than a hotel. Would highly recommend"

"Very close to the motorway so conveniently located but noisy. Limited facilities, just basic."

"All aspects of our stay was fab."

"A unique hotel, close to the airport. Fantastic restaurant, and our room was lovely."

"We stayed for an entire week and loved our stay. James and Amanda were very kind and helpfull and made a delicious fresh breakfast every day. The room was nice, clean and tidy. The location was perfect for visiting Eninbrugh while also visiting other cities by rental car, because we could park for free. Highly recommended!"
