"Stayed for a quick weekend away from Manila and it was the right decision. I wanted a quiet and low key stay away from the noise and bustle of the city areas. Panglao itself is a very laid back location for exactly that. The biggest highlight was how friendly, welcoming and truly amazing the staff were. They went above and beyond for each and every guest and would find ways to make you feel appreciated and valued. They treated me so well from the moment I arrived to every minute in between and...

I’m writing this as an American tourist that has been to all-inclusive resorts in Cancun and Costa Rica a few times (to help you American readers compare). This resort is 5 stars. Staff is very nice and helpful. The beach itself is amazing. Clear waters, white soft sand. Just watch out for the sea urchins. Staff can give you more details about that. They have some kayaks available for 30 minute rental too. Pools are nice and clean. The breakfast buffet is better than any buffet I’ve ate at in...

Hammocks on the beach have nets around the coconuts so they don't fall on your head, staff smiles and says hello good morning how was your day, the grounds are manicured with no detail spared, the pool invites you for a swim, a beautiful beach, they have bacon for breakfast, they have an art gallery to enjoy paintings and a ping pong table, the tours arranged from the front desk are with your own driver and they are kind patient and knowledgeable, they have a DVD library to catch up on movies ......

I don't know whe Expedia rates this hotel 3.5 stars. It's definitely a 4.5. The whole resort is impeccably designed with award winning furniture pieces by the great Kenneth Cobunpue, the rooms and respective bathrooms are perfect and super comfortable and spacious. We loved the design of the breakfast area and the buffet spread was delicious with a good variety of options that a first class hotel has. Any family would love it here as the pools are beautiful and kids would enjoy. The staff is...

Incredible place, we had a fantastic time. I guess we got lucky because on a few dining occasions we were the only ones there which was very special. Everybody did a wonderful job and the pool is magnificent. If you haven’t been there yet you need to get there… The room was perfect. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast and lunch was incredible and the pool beyond magnificent. Right off the main road so you can access transportation easily.
