"We stayed in a basic room for 4 nights. The rooms itself was probably the smallest we've ever stayed in and was very simple (no kettle, bedside table etc). However, it was in a really nice location, within walking distance (15 mins) from the hubbub, but in a quiet location and was really clean. We usually use earplugs when away but we didn't need to here! Amazing! Check-in/out was super speedy and the pool was a delight after a long day of sightseeing. "Bed was very hard. I did ask for a mattress topper but it was so thin that it made no difference. Paper cups in the room were disappointing. Would have expected proper cups given that we had tea and coffee making facilities. Glasses for water were also plastic. Tea and coffee were not replenished each day. Nor was the water. Only allowed for one day of your stay! The balcony was different to the photo and also close to a busy road so not relaxing. The breakfast was good with plenty of variety....

"We stayed in a separate building adjacent to main hotel so didn’t really have much to do with staff etc. our room was fine, clean, comfy beds and plenty of storage. The area was really good, plenty of nice restaurants & cafes. Train stations in walking distance. Plenty of shops around. Had breakfast in cafe next door Cafe Salute, croissants and drink for around £3, excellent value"

We had anticipated a laundry service and this was in the middle of our trip so that we could have clean clothes. There is no laundry service. The photographs shown of the room was not the standard room. So when we arrived, we got an economy room that was Very small uncomfortable and had an odor to it. "We just spend a most enjoyable weeks vacation in Montecatini Terme's gem, Hotel Parma e Oriente. With family hands-on management and experienced and quality staff, out stay was faultless and we really appreciated their advice and arrangements of airport transfers and local guidance etc. Nice wholesome breakfast was included and the a-la-carte dinner menu was extensive and the food excellent. We will definitely be re-booking for next year."
