Needed to get past the guard shack to get in, but just use the top secret password “Smart Hotel” :-) We just needed an overnight stay between arriving on the train and leaving on a ferry, so it was very convenient. We laughed at the “view” from our “patio”. "An amazing view of the Amalfi coast. Hard to find transportation if you’re wanting to explore the coast! You can get taxis for 150€ or take the bus… if it stops for you that is. Stood at the bus stop and the bus drove right past us twice. But overall a great small town and very few English speaking persons so be aware of that. "

"Our stay in Palazzo Salgar was nice, good for the price we paid, it was $168 CAD for the night. We were greeted with very friendly reception, and given a map and info about what to do in the area. Our room was clean, and was provided multiple soaps, vanity sets and shower caps. The property is well maintained, however the area surrounding the hotel is very run down with a lot of abandoned buildings and shops.
