"Nice large room that could have benefited from some additional furniture such as a couch or chairs, as well as cups & tea/coffee to complement the kettle provided. Balcony was ok but had to step over the constant stream of water coming from a damaged external pipe to get to the furniture. Bathroom ok with limited space to put products and shower felt like a cave due to no lights in the shower area. Rest of the hotel that I saw was clean and well maintained. Friendly staff."

5 Star service. In 35 years of travel, this was by far the best service and staff I have experienced. Help with planning sight seeing, recommendations, and tickets. The chef was amazing with the breakfast. The villa was top notch with a great bed, pool, hot tub/Jacuzzi, patio area. Secluded, so not to worry about tourist watching you in your villa. Free transportation from the Port and Airport. Highly recommended, with great views of the sunset.

The hotel and the rooms were excellent. The pool was gorgeous and the views magnificent. But the most important of all was the manager (John). He was super knowledgeable and helpful. He arranged hard to find dinner reservations at Ammoudi Bay and also managed to score a catamaran sunset cruise booking for us despite our very last minute request. We spent 4 days, 3 nights at Porto Fira. The view was gorgeous! The pool area is absolutely amazing - we spent a lot of time around it. Great area for pictures and to see the sunset! The stay at Smaro Suites was excellent. The room was very spacious and clean. It had all the amenities you needed and the location was great. The team there is also great. They went above and beyond in helping to make all requests and accomodations. Whatever we needed we asked and they made it happen. Great customer service, fantastic views, good location. The views from this hotel live up to expectations. You can see the caldera (sea view) clearly and you have great sunset views. Next the customer service is great. Thanks a lot for the help Nicole; you’re a gem. The one thing to be aware of is there is a lot of stairs so make sure to get luggage help. The room is not on the large side but sufficient. If you have a balcony they are private with the great view.

A delightful bonus was the adorable furry little friends who loved to hang around in front of the porch. It added such a charming, cozy touch to our mornings.
