"We had a really nice 2 night stay, we checked in earlier as our room was ready, which was a lovely start. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, the bed was very comfortable, the shower hot and powerful. We enjoyed some nice food in the atrium bar, a lovely afternoon tea in the 1853 restaurant. And some nice 6 oclock gin on the terrace - all with fantastic service. The only negative was the room was so hot it was uncomfortable, a fan was provided and was really needed. There was also a huge generator outside, and the loading bay was noisy. (room 6 - junior suite) "

We went to see Moulin Rouge at the Hippodrome, which was just a 20-minute walk from the hotel, so the location was ideal for us. Plus, the staff were really friendly, and checking in was a breeze. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re in town for a show or just exploring Bristol! "

"Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Not badgered by staff, left to do your own thing which is important to us. We were at the front of thr hotel and in the night it can be busy and smoky. Air con didnt work throughout the night which was dissapointing but they did leave fanta lemon and vimto in the fridge so thats a win! "
