"The Manor is a beautiful old building in lovely grounds. All the staff we met were friendly & helpful. The cooked breakfast was delicious, served very hot & to order. Great selection of cold food served as a buffet. Very clean bedding & towels, the room was large but tired. Take note, this is an old building with no lift & lots of stairs to every bedroom which is not a problem to the able bodied!"

"Hotel is in a good location. Room was very tired and in need of redecoration, door in the bathroom was rotten at the bottom. Comfy bed but it was so hot throughout the hotel and no air conditioning in the room, no fan either, so had a restless night. Breakfast was ok but ordered poached egg on toast which took forever and they just bro2 poached eggs on a plate and told me I had to make my own toast by which time eggs were cold… Overall hotel is in need of updating, staff were very good."

"My partner and I stayed here as a very belated birthday treat and the hotel was amazing from the moment it came in to view. Our room was in the main house and full of period grace and style. The bathroom was clean with a lovely bath and powerful shower. Breakfast was delicious, the largest buffet selection possible, it was all perfectly fresh and regularly being topped up. The grounds are stunning too. Lovely first floor bar open until 1am with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the last of...
