"The Property has some of the best views of the Nile river. On the other side of the river there are the Ritz Carlton, Hilton Ramses and Fourseasons etc. but they are facing west, so for the most part of the afternoon you cannot look out of the window from those hotels. Novotel has the river to the East, so you enjoy nice sunrise and the Evenings as well. You can see the river cruises pass by from 8pm to 11PM. "

I got a hold of room service and asked for a copy of the menu, never got it. It was almost like they were hoping I’d forget I asked for things. Room service apparently also stops at 4 PM. The receptionists were unusually and irrationally hostile; they also kept repeatedly asking my friend and I what rooms we were in every time they would see us,...

"Postives - The hotel room was a good size - The staff were really friendly and helpful - Cleanliness to a good standard - Hotel is located near to the airport (15 mins drive) which is helpful - Internet / Wifi was included and reasonably fast - Complimentary drinking water, appreciated. Negatives - Not a lot really, in terms of western standards this is probably a high 3 star hotel with reasonable levels of cleanliness. - It's fairly basic but comfortable."
