"Cute and quaint old school feel. Great if you love old books and reading in libraries. Bedding was lacking in pillows. Other than a tiny fridge, no other room amenities like coffee/tea or complimentary water. I also had to request my VIP perk of 1 bottle of wine as it was not offered it to me upon checkin. Overall, you get what you pay for staying in a book-themed auberge in a very touristy old-world town like Obidos. "

"This is a great hotel for visiting Óbidos. Breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly. The have a buffet for lunch which was very good. Tip - the hotel signage isn’t obvious so look for the Antonius Restaurant this is a more eye catching sign for the hotel. There is parking in front of the hotel. I definitely recommend this hotel. "

"Great location inside the castle walls, very easy to walk anywhere. Friendly and professional staff. Only warning is that parking is OUTSIDE the castle walls in a very public and dusty parking lot. "
