"We came to an event at the hotel: arrived early to get ready in our room, stayed overnight and enjoyed the buffet breakfast before heading home. Staff on reception were so lovely; always attentive and ready to help. The room was very comfortable and had everything that we needed. During the event we attended, the food was delicious and staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the morning was good - pretty standard buffet breakfast - but the area didn’t seem to be very well stocked...

"My partner and I booked a suite at the Novotel for 2 days as we were visiting Sheffield to watch the World Snooker Semi Finals. The hotel could hardly be better situated for the snooker as it is a 5 minute walk from the Crucible Theatre, right next door to the Winter Gardens. The hotel suite was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The staff were really helpful. "Stayed here overnight after visiting family in Derby , check in and out easy, friendly reception staff. Very clean accomodation , tea, coffee etc, bath with overhead shower, good thick towels the room was quiet cheap overnight at £43 pub/restaurant on site for breakfast and meals, mcdonalds 2 mins walk away. Good very clean comfortable good stay. "

"Despite a booking issue the reception desk went out of their way to find me a room as the alternative they offered/booked was extremely unsuitable for me with no car this hotel chosen for its location."

"I booked a twin room and ended up getting a double not great when you are staying with your 16 year old son but the hotel did sort out a camp bed for one of us to sleep on the hotel staff did a great job sorting that out with no trouble so I take my hat of to them for that but it would of been nice to have got the room type we had booked would definitely stay again very modern hotel great value for the money "

"Clean, quiet and nice for a family. Swimming pool is good, kids times appropriate. Breakfast was also full and delicious, everything you expect. The shower hose was leaking in our bathroom, but it did not make much inconvenience. Overall, very happy with our stay and would recommend the hotel. "
