The La Monastica resort was a wonderful place with a staff who were exceptionally welcoming, pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. The location and grounds were beautiful with some modern influences in decor but really maintaining the overall old world charm and aesthetic of the monastery. We really enjoyed time in the bar playing cards and drinking some great cocktails.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like. They were gracious, helpful and accommodating when we arrived early and woke up late. We couldn’t ask for more.

This is a fabulous property with unique things to do that you simply cannot find anywhere else!! The cave is a must. There are swimming pools and saunas and steam room. Plus a whole host of personal body treatments. Also the grounds have hiking trails. Close to very good small restaurants and great area historical sites. Treat yourself to this amazing place at least once.

A charming B&B settled outside of Lucca (~20 minutes), but with easy access to visiting many different areas. We rented a car from the airport (~1hr & 20mins) and I highly recommend it so you can move around with ease and visit different areas even go to the coast. The tolls are fantastic and fast. Hotel Villa Casanova was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany! Everything about this place was special. The rooms are incredibly spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, huge shower, and enormous soaking tub. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional. We booked this by chance on the last day of the season and it did not disappoint. The level of warmth and responsiveness made our stay very enjoyable. From recommending and booking our restaurant reservations, to a wonderful breakfast and spa experience, this turned out to be a stay we wouldn’t forget.

Such a cool experience! Loved the historical character of this room, with a bit of a modern vibe. We got there quite late so had a remote check in which worries me a bit but it was easy and not worth the worry. Location - excellent!

Great B&B within a short walk to The city wall of Lucca. I had a nice room on the second floor, bed was very comfortable & room was very clean. Free parking was provided in a secure area and the security for the B&B was excellent. The owner who’s name is also Luca was extremely hospitable and gave us all kinds of information. He also served a nice breakfast. I would definitely stay here again
