Lodges in Albemarle County

"We had a great stay! Amazing for kids (all of ours were 3 and under) and adults alike. We stayed over July 4th weekend and it worked out perfectly. We had easy access to pickleball, short hiking trails, a pool, and places to eat. Plenty of space in the house to spread out for our 7 adults and 3 kids."

"We had a wonderful weekend at the lodge. We had a houseful staying there to celebrate my niece’s wedding which was nearby. Our favorite spot to hang out together was the front porch. It is so peaceful. Highly recommend!"

"I will be back, hopefully the early morning vocal pooch won't."

"Truly enjoyed our time here!"

"Great House and Host!"

"Great facilities, great location, over all a stellar Cabin"

"Large house with high quality furnishings including toiletries in all the bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes and cooking items including coffees and seasonings. Great family games provided. Excellent choice for extended family vacation."

"Wonderful view and great location. Enjoyed dinner and breakfast."

"Our family had a great time here. Really enjoyed the lack of close neighbors."

"Beautiful property! I will definitely stay again in the future!"

"Excellent customer service and great food."

"Very tranquil, high quality, on the mountain, all the amenities and then some! Fantastic place to stay."

"The cabin is cute, but the property beside it looks down on the cabin so not much privacy or a view. There's no dishwasher, oven, or even a hair dryer here. When it rains the water turns rusty, thus is not drinkable and they don't leave bottled water for you or offer to help with that so that limits showers, toilets turned rusty, couldn't make coffee etc. The property was a little overgrown when we arrived as well. But a person came while we were there and cut the grass."

"This is a wonderful place to stay before going in to or leaving Shenandoah National Park. The lodge is beautiful, staff friendly and the views are stunning."

"I highly Recommend Lydia mountain for anyone needing a weekend away !"
