"The Virginia Guesthouse is a new hotel and conference center, right next to the University of Virginia. The staff were very friendly and helpful! Including providing a late checkout at 12 instead of 11, and holding our bags in their luggage check while we were still in town for the afternoon after checkout. The rooms are nicely designed and being brand new are perfectly clean. Throughout the hotel, there are lots of spaces designed in, such as gathering areas and libraries. The hotel is well appointed and fun. The gym is incredible. There are water bottle, filling stations in the gym and in the hall. Tip: Note that you’ll park in the garage and then you’ll need to exit the garage and enter the front of the hotel. For check-in and check out I recommend parking directly in front of the hotel in the drop off circle as it will be easier for your luggage."

"Highly Recommend! Very friendly staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. The room was nice - although, I would suggest a cleaning of the wood entry as we had some water spill and when we wiped it up I was awed at how dirty the floor was. We were in Ednam hall and although it was probably a 5 minute walk to the main hotel lobby, it wasn't too bad. The hiking trails were fabulous and the spa pool was nice - I would also suggest a few more umbrellas over the lounge chairs as shade was in short supply. I will definitely go back - it was a very relaxing stay."
