Very comfortable hotel with beautiful manicured grounds. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful. Breakfast buffet was superb. Only problem was a lack of local restaurants in easy walking distance, encouraging visitors to visit the resort restaurants which were mediocre and expensive.

What a wonderful quiet hidden resort on top of the beautiful cliffs of the Algarve region in Portugal. We took the train from Lisbon to Tunes, where the resort arranged a taxi to pick us up. Its about a 20-30 minute drive to the resort. Wear your seat belt, taxi drivers do not drive slow. Nice property. Great rooms. Beautiful view, if you get a beach/water view room. We had reserved a non-water view. Asked for upgrade at check in. Got the upgrade but had to pay more money, thought that was a perk with Expedia VIP, but wasn't. Nice bar area with good views and decent food. The upscale restaurant was good, but pricy. No restaurants next to hotels for food options. 15 Min walk or very short drive is the local village was is very tourist oriented and has lots of restaurants.

This property is right on the 7 hanging trails hike. Not a bad walk to downtown Carvoeiro. The staff are very helpful in recommendations for restaurants and activities. Would highly recommend.

Impressive property with fantastic views and location!

The room was very clean and well equipped. We were upgraded to a suite which was lovely. Staff were more than helpful and did their utmost to ensure a comfortable stay. Can't say enough good things about the entire experience.

We loved our stay at Hotel Alisios. It was in a very convenient location and parking was easy. The breakfast was great. The front desk staff were very friendly, kind, and helpful. It's also along the beach which is convenient and beautiful. Room shower water pressure and temperature were very good.

Big room!!! Big balcony!!! Bar/restaurant!!! Unbelievable breakfast in the morning!!! Shuttle bus to downtown, the strip, and the marina!!! Lobby is lovely!!! Big pool!!! Great stay!!! Would definitely stay again!!!

Loved the Hotel California theme and music always playing. Great breakfasts, views, pool area. The lemonade water in reception area awesome. Bery cool place, light, open, airy rooms. Clean, new and innovative. Recommend it to all (the one downfall is there is no parking at hotel, have to park downyand walk)

We stayed a quick 3 days and had a blast. Everyone was super friendly and inviting, breakfast was awesome, quick walk to the beach and a number of great restaurants, plus we were super excited for one of the better small hotel gyms we've been in - if your hotel has barbells and weights over 20kg, they're doing something right :) We'll certainly be recommending Lagos Atlantic to others and will hopefully be back in the future for more than just a few days!

Listen, they are not going to be around a lot. No one at the desk when you arrive and not throughout the night. Its more a bed and breakfast. Front door is loud, you hear it when you sleep and other guests come and go. Those are the draw backs The staff, Anna especially is lovely. They did their best with redoing the place and conveniently located. Is it the best experience ever? No. But clean safe and close to beach and good breakfast
