"The hotel was nice enough to hold our two large suitcases, while we travelled to Edinburgh. I don't think we would have survived Edinburgh if we had to carry around that baggage. Weird thing with return was that the room was a ways from our previous room, but was bigger with a nice bathtub."

The hotel facilities also did not disappoint - the spa was a good way to start the day, whilst the food in the restaurant was of a high standard. "Excellent location. Friendly staff. Our room was great for our 4 person family and the view or the river from our room was lovely. The only thing I would mention about our room, specifically number 336, was that there was a hole near one of the baseboards and it looked like it needed a bit of TLC."

The staff were helpful in providing a room close to the lift and were keen to ensure that everything was okay for us. The only downside was that in booking a second room for our daughter we were charged for 2 breakfasts (no option for a single) by Hotels.com - not the policy of the hotel we were told. In future we would not pre-order breakfast and pay at the hotel."
