Only reason for the 4-star cleaning rating is an unclean grill with bacon smell on arrival (I'm not a fan of meat) – but definitely not a biggie and we'd highly recommend the barn."

"We had a perfect stay in the Bankside cottage. Milldale is very small (7 houses?), beautiful and quiet place, especially in the evening when daytrippers have left. The cottage has everything you need. Good beds, decent seating in living room, lots of kitchen equipment, washing / drying machine etc. The Master bedroom is very spacious with a good bed. The rest of the sleeping rooms are doable but much smaller. Bathroom is very spacious and shower and bath have good waterflow. The Wifi was...
