"WOW, what an incredible and beautiful place to stay!! My room was absolutely lovely, great assistance from staff. The location is gorgeous, the views, the people. Juan was a great help to us.
It is a very steep hill to get in and out but just take your time. As they say, it’s hard with rolling bags because of the cobblestones but I was able to lug my bag up, they do offer assistance if you request in advance!
I will be back, thank you!!"
"An amazing place to stay while in Antigua. The staff was responsive and very helpful. I will stay here again when I am back in town. Highly recommended!"

We only stayed one night, but Casa ELA was very nice. We had an ensuite bathroom. The water pressure and temperature were good. It was nice having access to a full kitchen. Alvaro was very nice and let us drop our bags off early. The view from the upstairs terrace is lovely.

I cannot imagine a better place to stay in Antigua. A few hundred yards from the famous Antigua Arch, the staff was above and beyond expectations 24/7.
They found us a Mayan tour guide for the city walk and the next day out to the Iximché Ruins, we saw an actual Mayan ritual by people doing their way if life - ie not a show for tourists. There weren’t any there.
Back at Hotel Rafael, Ray and his partner built a little piece of perfection from excellent breakfasts, indoor ponds, and...

Hands down one of the best hostels I've stayed in. It's meticulously clean. The water pressure was out of this world. Very quiet without typical hostel party vibes. Convenient location. I had a private room. It was one of those places where you almost didn't want to go out and explore because there were many beautiful gathering spots to relax within the hostel. The only minor downside was my room faced the kitchen/a walkway to/from some of the rooms so i had to keep my curtains closed and there...

It was the perfect place to stay in Antigua- easy to walk to everything but also a bit away from the middle of things with all the noise during Festival weekends.

We absolutely loved staying at this little gem of a B&B! The property is beautifully decorated with flowering plants and each room has the decor of a different part of the world. Marina, the owner, is a delightful, well-traveled woman, and the consummate hostess who even brought us a bottle of wine after we arrived quite late in the evening (thanks, Marina!). The property is beautiful. Well maintained and the common areas (restaurant, pool, bar, gym) are large, well appointed and comfortable. Our rroom and bathroom were incredibly clean.
The best part, though, was the staff at the front desk - in particular, Emanuel. He was incredibly helpful - helping us change to a quieter room, arranging for shuttles, meals to go, and gave good advice on where to eat. He is a great representative for the hotel, and we really appreciated his responsiveness to our...
