"The home is in a nice location with easy access to most things. The furnishings were nice and the beds comfortable. The home itself could have been better cleaned. Additionally, there was no bar soap, shampoo or coffee. Upon rereading the listing, I realized they were not listed in the amenities, so that’s on me. I’ve just never stayed where these (at least soap & shampoo) wasn’t provided. One last mention is if you are getting to the house by gps be sure to note if it is street or road. We...

"My friends and I had a great time celebrating our birthdays at the Palisades Cottage. I think the pictures don't do it justice. It's spacious, but cozy, and the backyard was a great space to hang out and grill up some dinner. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to beach, and some good bird watching, too! Very pleasant stay overall."

Plenty of bedrooms for our 5-person adult family, with excellent bathrooms and kitchen. Was convenient for our trips into Monterey and Carmel. "We had a great stay and the location was perfect. We unfortunately were there for my dad’s memorial, but the view from the living room windows showed us all his favorite spots. It’s like he was there with us. The house was clean and very comfortable. The only minor “issue” was there were lots of horseflies when we got inside the first day, other than that it was a good stay."

"Owner has done a wonderful job of updating the house even having HVAC installed. The area is "old" and there's a lot of street parking but the house has a short driveway for 1 car. The fenced in back yard was good for our dogs."
