"The resort is gorgeous and the service was excellent. We stayed 5 nights and were a party of 5 adults with 3 rooms. We ended our 3 week vacation here after traveling through Mexico City, San Miguel de Allende, Guadalajara and Mascota. We had a very relaxing beautiful time. My only are of suggestion for improvement is upon check in we were not given a tour of the facilities and we were never informed that there were activities like meditation in the morning or exercise class. "Everything was amazing. The food: we ate at all 3 of the restaurants on the property as well as Hiroshi. The spa was great. We participated in the Hydro therapy followed by a 50 minute massage. 2 employees that stood out were Ronnie by the poolside. He was very friendly, helpful and checked in with me daily. "This is a very unique hotel. We picked it because of the fun decor and it didn’t not disappoint. Everywhere you look there is fun, interesting and whimsical artwork and decorative touches. Unfortunately many areas just seem old and under kept. Most of the staff are lovely and very helpful. The area seems a little sketchy at night but after taking a few evening walks, I’m sure the sketchiness is more perception than reality. If you enjoy the eclectic, this is your place!"
