They anticipated our family's needs before we even realized them ourselves, making our stay incredibly comfortable and stress-free. Their exceptional hospitality didn't end when we checked out - they continued to follow up with thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for places to visit, which made the rest of our trip even more enjoyable. "We had never been to Crete before and we have loved it. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with sea views. All the staff are fantastic, excellent service and incredibly helpful when organising excursions. The rooms we had were clean and met our expectations. Being slightly outside Agia Pelagia itself means that it is a little quieter but it is easy to get to the beach when you want to. The food we had at the hotel surpassed our expectations, breakfasts were plentiful of high quality and great variety. Evening meals were amazing, we ate at several taverna/restaurant by the beach at Agia Pelagia and the food was good, but the hotel restaurant quality and flavours were amazing. I have two teenage boys who would live on pizza and burgers given the chance but they loved their meals. That in itself is high praise. The service from George and his team was brilliant, we never met the chefs but a big thank you to them. The pianist on Monday evenings and Cretan night on Friday lent a special dimension to our stay and the latter was great fun. We were very sad to leave as we had an amazing holiday. Thank you Happy Cretan"

"We booked a loft suite for a week. From the moment we arrived till we left what more can you say other than.. Brilliant. The hotel is really well laid out and whilst it’s big it never gives the feeling of an all inclusive full of guests. If you want privacy, relaxation and away from the normal crowds then this is a great choice. The food is brilliant and honestly the choice and quality is fantastic. The desserts are something else. The genuine care and friendliness of the team who work here are probably what stands out. Well worth it and would highly recommend."

"Lovely place to stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking can be difficult to find at certain times of day, but usually you find something. Pool was lovely. Rooms cleaned well, towels for pool provided. Coffee shops/bakeries, supermarket, laundromat at the end of the street. Lots of sets of approx 2-5 steps throughout the property, so although not multi-storey, is a bit of a work out managing luggage. Thanks for a great stay, I wouldn't hesitate to come back again."

"My kids really enjoyed the pools but I feel that being 4 and 6 were too young for the Aquapark. We booked online a bungalow room but it was in reality a room. The first two days the bedsheets of our king size bed were too small for the mattress size. The dirty glasses and cups in the room were rinsed not changed, so we started to use the paper ones. We had to asked several times for a bathroom mat for the shower. Staff was friendly and food of the restaurants was excellent. On the other hand, the buffets were OK."
