"Clean room amazing staff and breakfast bang bang "

"Very small room. Old building that needs a lot of money to upgrade it. The staff changed our room from 2nd floor to a ground floor room due to a disability- so they were very helpful. There was free parking, a bar, restaurant ( continental breakfast) and plenty of original building features. The beds were clean and we had plenty of fresh towels. Good facilities for the price. "

"This was such a lovely place. The perfect spot to relax and unwind after a 30 hour day. Joy was a great host and very quick to respond with any questions we had. We stayed for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely come back. "

"This hotel was in a great location (a 10 - 15 minute walk along the beach to the Harbour Arm) and was a delight all round. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a real highlight. "

"Having seen other reviews, we were pleasantly surprised to see that whilst the main areas of the hotel look a little outdated and in need of renovation, our room was clean and we were given a sea-view room. However, the toilet did not flush at all and the shower did not work; we only discovered this as we were getting ready for check out. There also appeared to be a potential asbestos risk with the flaking textured coating on the ceiling of the wardrobe with cracks in the ceiling and dust and debris on the shelf."

"We celebrated a family birthday at Abbots Cliff House recently and I cannot put into words how amazing our stay was. The location was beyond perfect, on the clifftop overlooking the channel. The property was tastefully decorated, spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay over two nights for nine of us. We were lucky enough to be spoilt by fantastic weather which made our stay even better. I cannot recommend this property enough, and look forward to our next visit. Thank you for making this occasion so memorable."

"We had a lovely stay for one night, it is the perfect location, making it easy to walk everywhere. We had everything we needed. We had a sea view, but unfortunately, it was covered with scaffolding, which was disappointing! The breakfast was really nice, and you had plenty of choices to pick from. "
